1.remove original damper from the niplet it is sitting on
2. remove the brass securing the tube to the original damper
3. carefully disconnect the tubing (so you do not spill), holding the end point of the tube upwards
4. connect the compatible damper (after you have discarded the short tube it came with) to the respective tube
5. secure the connection using the brass
6. install the damper to the respective inlet
