This is our all New Epson DTF printer which though produced using either the L1800 or 1390 engines. They all have the same performance / quality so engine use depends on availability. It is more expensive than the basic L1800 model (https://dtgpro.com/cicproduct/dtf-pro-l1800-dtf-diy.php) because it features the following advancements over the basic L1800 as below:

  • WIMS (White Ink Management System) - a Patented White ink "mix and recycle" feature typically found only on $20000+ systems and a major benefit to minimize clogs
  • XL Ink Tank Continuous Feed System - larger and DTF specific, as compared to standard ink tanks used on other systems
  • Built-in Heater-enhanced printing area for better ink adhesion and curing and avoidance of ink-bleeding in low temperature scenarios

We recommend to buy a bundle pack which has the Heat station included - (https://dtgpro.com/cicproduct/dtfpro-evolution-comp1.php) , as it will be more effective in comparison to using an oven / heat press hover or other mechanism that may not be as precise.
