Customer should at least print a small image on plain paper on a daily basis. A nozzle calibration image, so you can check the quality/quantity of the printed ink. Depending on how much you are printing, you need to moisturize the capping station accordingly and if you are sure absent or not print at all for more than 3-4 days, you should flush all the ink out of their printhead or else risk ink clogging.
