The heat settings (time and temperature) at which it is best to melt the powder to the DTF printed sheets, as well as the heat settings (time and temperature) at which it is best to cure/press the DTF sheet to your T-shirt or apparel depend on many factors, so there is no "1 size fits all". The factors range from the type of ink used, the amount of ink used (how dense the image is), the film itself, the powder type, the heating element that you are using to melt the powder to the DTF printed sheet, and of course when it comes to heat presses, the type of heat press and the fabric / garment that you are pressing to. In a nutshell, the simple answer is "it depends". However, there are some general recommended settings at which most customers find success, or at least which could serve as a starting point from which you can fine tune your settings for your overall environment.

The recommended settings listed below are suggested starting points:

DTFPro Heat Mat – Set to 114C and leave printed image powder up for 2-3 minutes, or slightly more time for full-faced images

DTFPro Heat Station – Set to 110 degree for 150-180 seconds

HEAT PRESS:

Set Heat Press to 170C or 338F and press for 15 seconds

Wait for peel to cool down before removing - After peeling – The result is smooth and shiny

Press again for another 10 seconds  at 170C without teflon depending on the fabric to allow for a better Wash durability and also a more dry and rigid surface
